Verlag Vault

Verlag Vault is a new concert series happening at Roter Salon in Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, prompted by Berlin based Label Verlag  – a platform for music curation and artistic projects with a focus on sound, literature and fashion.

Verlag Vault is the community driven, public embodiment of the label’s aesthetic research, bringing the narrative on stage through music performances. The coming event, scheduled for March 14th, will feature LABOUR, the Berlin-based duo formed by Farahnaz Hatam and Colin Hacklander. Their sound based work has been featured in various venues worldwide, including Martin Gropius Bau, Kraftwerk Berlin, Sharjah Biennial and most recently EMST Athens. Additionally Agnese Menguzzato will perform music inspired by her recently released Ep Scusa, alongside new material to be released on Verlag Vault by the end of year.

The concert series Verlag Vault will always feature two live performances, one from an emerging artist and the other from a more established artist.
The performances are paired for aesthetic configuration with the goal of bringing about every time a focus and thematic of what an experimental music performance can be, with a specific attention towards previously unreleased and unseen projects.
